Film identifcation

I have been trying to remember the name of a couple of obscure scifi films.

1) Probably late 70s/early 80s. Plot revolved around a space ship investigating a post nuclear war Earth populated by mutants. Mutants turned out to be perfectly normal children. It had an annoying robot.

2) Slightly later. Squad of US soldiers in WW2 come across crashed alien spacecraft. Eventually Americans and aliens team up against Germans. The male aliens were Irwin Allen type shiny people and the female aliens were ugly as though they were a different species (film sub plot!)
