Wrong arm of the law?
Terrific film with Peter Sellers as the leader of a London gang who, along with Bernard Cribbins as the leader of another gang, go along with Lionel Jeffries' (who plays a police Inspector I believe) idea for a 24 hour period in which no crimes take place so that they can catch a group of Australian crooks who have been passing themselves off as real Policemen to commit a series of robberies.
Peter Sellers was Pearly Gates, Bernard Cribbins Nervous O'Toole + Lionel Jeffies Inspector Nosey Parker. The Australian gang called themselves the IPO (Impersonating a Police officer) Mob.
