fire service dramas!

i used to love london's burning and although it got a bit boring towards the end it was still a good drama. Is there any chance of it being redone?

Also there was a series or maybe two done about a fire station in the north east .....trying to think what it was called now ah yes steel river blues.

ive found a site and would seem that itv will not be doing s second series which is a shame as i love good fire drama over a police one any day!!
