Name of kids animation on Channel 5

Can anyone recall the name of a kids show shown earlier this year on Milkshake that was stop-go animation of a little blonde haired boy. He was made of fabric, I think and you never saw his mum, other than her legs.
It was narrated by the late Peter Jones of H2g2 fame?

Cheers Metz and Postdog. That's the one. I actually got it as I went to bed last night by imagining Peter Jones speaking to him! LOL. Sam was the name originally in my mind.
Strangely enough the lady who wrote the stories based it on her own family and one of her boys is called Sam!
Yes, H2G2 is Hitchhikers...., there is a great website by that name.
