Windtakers & Road to Perdition

Anyone seen these films? If yes, are they good and what's the best one, give marks out of 10 if you can :o)xx

Ive seen Windtalkers, but not Road to Perdition. Windtalkers was OK, not amazing. Regular John Woo explosive action, but it doesnt quite work in a WW2 film. Not bad as an action film, but doesnt compare with Full Metal Jacket and Saving Private Ryan as a realistic War film.

Windtakers - ok but it didn't make me say "what a fantastic film" and certainly not a patch on "We were soldiers" which also came out recently. (yes i know they were two different wars)

Windtalkers, in my opinion, was a mess of a movie. You see the weaknesses at the end of the film. Character developments start then end ad hoc. The whole 'flow' of this film is extremely staggered. 2/10. Road to Perdition is much better, by far. But I don't think it quite lives up to the hype.

9/10 for Road to Perdition, good film all round, you don't wait for long before it gets into the thick of things and it just keeps on coming!
