i remember that . didn't he have a balloon that bursts and all the balloons in paris come to him . it was the red balloon but filmed in black and white

iam sure thats the film i was thinking of the other day, when i was at shool [long time ago 44 now] we used to watch a programme called picture box and it was narrated by ithink they called him alan rowntree he later was in coranation street, it was doin my head in its like you read my thoughts sg, now if someone out there can confirm or correct this thread i will be so gratful

I remember this, it was 50 years ago! Although it was in black & white when I saw it on the telly, (way back in the dim dark ages!), it was actually filmed in colour. :o)
