The trailer for Channel 4's Cutting Edge documentary 'Wedding Days' is a sort of contemporary Irish/Celtic jig.. Anyone know what it's called and who it's by, or have any further info? Thanks!

If I recall the trailer correctly, the music is Michael Nyman's "Chasing sheep is best left to shepherds" from the soundtrack to the 1982 Peter Greenaway film "The Draughtsman's Contract".

Hi Kempie No it's definitely not Michael Nyman because I would know it if it was... But thanks anyway!
Having watched the clip again I agree that the track I suggested is incorrect (memory playing tricks on me).

The clip may be viewed here...

(although, in my opinion, it does sound like something from a Peter Greenaway film).
I know, I know!!!!!!!!!!!!! After literally hours of searching (as it is a piece of music that me and my hubby have been looking for, for months!), it is Music For The Found Harmonium by The Penguin Cafe Orchestra.
You can listen to a sample and buy the CD from amazon.
