With the demise of TOTP today, can anyone confirm that Robert Wyatt is the only person ever to have appeared on the programme in a wheelchair (apparently against the wishes of the producers who wanted him to sit in a 'normal' chair.

Peter kay appeared as Brian Potter of Phoenix Nights fame. So thats 2 so far. And it was a performance as he was portraying a fictional character.

Seem to remember Kenny Rogers performing Ruby Don't Take Your Love To Town, while sitting in a Wheelchair, back in 1969.
