80 Film

I'm trying to remember a film i saw when i was a kid, (in the 80's) i think it was about a boy and some little creature, all i can remember was they took the little guy and tried to do test on him but their needle wouldn't go through his skin. anyone know what it was called? long shot i know. cheers

No it wasn't that. i dont think the creature was an alien. i think it was like a troll or something, it lived under ground

Five children and It? Also called the Psamiad (sp?).

It was like a little troll that lived in the sand on a beach, and could grant magic wishes. Wasn't a film though as I remember, I know they have remade it last year but it was a book and long running TV series when i was little.

sounds a little bit like 'mac and me' that was from the 80's i think the kid was in a wheelchair and mac was from space..dunno if this helps...let me know if you recognise it
