is anybody still watching lost. i've stuck with it even tho it's very frustrating.things happen but events never seem to come to a conclusion.a friend has told me how the 3rd series(thats been screened in the u.s.)has ended.does anyone want to know?

You friend is pulling your appendages, season 3 has not aired anywhere, neither will it even begin till after 10/4/2006. Whether that series comes to any conclusion rather depends. I get the feeling Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof, make each episode up as they go along, so maybe it will never make sense.

Oooh the little sod.wait til i see him next time.just read they're doing the premiere of season three in october in u.s.Yeah i've read they have main storyline they are working to but otherwise things are made up or changed as they go along.must admit it's very clever writing.you've just gotta keep watching!

i love lost and i know it gets a lot of critisism, but i think its brilliant. i think some people complain about it because they dont get it ... but thats part of the fun!!i just hope sawyer is in it till the end !!!!!

Ive just watched the last episode of series two in Ireland but I was a little tipsy when I watched it so I cant remember the whole ending but I am so addicted now I will have to watch the last episode again when its on channel 4 in a few weeks time just to refresh my memory! cant wait for series 3.

Well, I agree with J, I think it is dragging on a bit, it needs something for everyone to say "oh that's it then, that's why they crashed!" or something like that, then move on but there is no closure except the ones that got shot, squashed or eaten by polar bears. What happened to the Polar Bears?? Or are they all dead anyway??

the yanks luv their long seasons.i like lost a lot and will watch it till the end.

if you think lost is dragged out...have you watched prison break ?! took 24 episodes to do what couldve been done in 3 or 4 !

*****SPOILER ALERT******

Just to let you know it was announced that filming for season 3 starts this month. The first 6 episodes will revolve around Jack, Kate and Sawyer and will be aired as a mini series. The smoke monster and the polar bears will be back. The story will also revolve around the history of the island. They have not confirmed whether Michael and Walt will return but did say that if they do, the story has been written to account for Walts real life growth spurt!

(Maybe they will leave a gap in the story and continue the story a year or two onwards? In which case Sun could have had her baby, and if the electro magnetic pulse has been destroyed, Locke could be paralised again and Rose could be dead/dying)

At the press conference they also said that the original plan was for 5 series and then finishing with a movie. They see no reason to change that plan.

I've seen all of series 2 and it finishes with a real bang, just be patient! I'd love to know what your friend told you happens just to see how badly he was winding you up lol!

I'd like to watch it but can't get into it as I didn't watch it from the beginning and can't work out what it's about.

yeah i've read that walt and michael turn up again. also i've heard there's thoughts of doing 5 seasons but the writers want to finish on 3 so the tv station will have to replace them with other writers. it's pretty dragged out now how can they do it for 5 series!! but if they do i'll probably still be watching! my friend said that at the end it's revealed their all dead from plane crash but they're in between heaven and hell which is something i'd heard before that's why i believed him....or i'm just v.gullible.

No its already been confirmed they are not dead. That was a theory that went around for a while. But the end of season 2, where the signal is picked up by desmonds ex, kinda proves they are in the real world.

Here's a bit of trivia for you...

Take the "Numbers" and imagine they are actually coordinates (Longitude and Latitude). Convert them to hours and minutes and punch them in Google Earth and you end up at a little unnamed island in the middle of the pacific, not far from Tahiti. Coincidence????
