How do you record a program on Sky Plus that is on in more than 7 days time?

You can't, it only allows you to go one week ahead.

try manual recording - you cant record a prog but as with a video you can tell it to record a set time weekly

is it part of a series?? if so you could put a series link on it and then it will record it for you each time an episode comes on xXx
