Belle Dingle was delivered by Paddy Kirk on Christmas Day 1998 to Zak Dingle and Lisa Dingle. Belle was a complete surprise as Lisa didn't even know she was pregnant. On Christmas Day 2005 Belle fell down a mineshaft. Daz Hopwood tried to save her, but instead made matters worse by getting the two of them trapped 30 feet down the shaft. Belle and Daz were eventually saved on Boxing Day 2005 after the whole village joined in to find the pair.
