DVD regions...

when i am looking on ebay for dvds i always get confused about the regions...R1 R" ect...could someone please explain to me what region i need for a DVD player bought in england...

European DVDs are region 2

If you have an instruction booklet or box it should tell you which region it is. Mostly they are multi region and anything will play on them. Otherwise stick to region 0 or 2 and you will be ok.

Do you have the make and model of the player?
