Anyone help with this short film?

Ok, it was a few years ago, probably shown on channel 4 or BBC2 . I did see it, but I am actually asking because someone else has elsewhere and it is bugging me.

Basically, it was a short film, set late at night, and a guy was trying to impress a girl in various ways. At the end of it, he leaps over a wall, and the twist was it was a subway or something and he fell to his death.

Anyone any ideas?

TV still not working?...

I just checked IMDb and there is no film of that name, but there was one called the billion dollar hole, which was a UK tv production. However it was classed as a documentary, and this was just a story. I honestly can't remember what it was called and wouldn't know if it jumped out at me. Can you remember any more - if there are similarities to what I can remember or check on, then it must be.

the lead man character was a bit dipsy and so was the girl. Bono did the music, i have it on DVD and the soundtrack, it is probably too long a film, Mel Gibson had a small part as a detective witha deformed spine

It was me misreading your post - I thought you wrote "hole" not hotel, Doh!

Anyway I am pretty sure that is not it, as from what I can remember, this was just a five or ten minute short and only had the two characters. Ta for trying tho.

Yes I've seen it. She's drunk and comes out of a nightclub. He's also drunk and keeps pestering her. I think they were scousers. He takes one of her shoes and runs off to do a headfirst dive over some railings to impress her however there's a sheer drop on the other side. She sulks off without her shoe thinking he's some sort of nutter. Then the camera shows him spreadeagled down below presumably dead. I've definitely seen it, but alas the name of it escapes me.
