Quizmania - Where's Flash gone?

If anybody watches Quizmania on ITV then you'll probably know Flash the cameraman. He's the funny one with long blond hair. Recently he left the show because he was in hospital after hitting himself on the head with his quitar. Since then he has been back on the show, but I have noticed that they don't show his face on screen any more for some reason. They show his hands now and then, and they let him do funny vioceovers from time to time. I thought for a while that maybe they wouldn't let him be shown on camera because he was better than the actual presenters, but wasn't being paid the same amount as them, because he is just supposed to be a camerman. However they still show all of the other cameramen on screen. They have also started calling him "Ash" instead of "Flash" which is puzzling me! Maybe that has something to do with it? The only time they have shown his whole body is if he has something over his head, eg. he had a small bin on his head in one show! Does anyone know of a reason why they won't let his face be shown???? Thanks.
