I think it Time Trax.Dale Midkiff played Captain Darien Lambert a marshal from the year 2193 who discovers the that the worst crroks and terrorists of his time are being sent back to 1993 ( the year it was made),and so he comes back to track them down.Peter Donat was the criminal/scientific genius behind the plot.Darien had a computer named SELMA who I think took the form of a hologram of a woman.It ran for 21 episodes.I think it was made in Australia as I spotted Dr Karl from Neighbours in one episode.
