new royal mail postage scheme
4 Answers
I have a 'letter' sized piece of mail but I am not sure if it is 5mm thick or not as the envelope is puffed up with air and even though I try to squash it and then measure it , it is impossible to accurately measure it against the chart I have.
If it is just over 5mm will they not process it?
If it is over 5mm thick does it have to be classed as 'large letter'?
I have 65 of these to post and do not want to pay more than I have to but they also need to get to the destination for legal reasons. I cannot get to the post office today and the letters have to go today??
Can anyone help?

So if 10 = less than 50mm and so on, you will be safe. Although the post office are being flexible this week (or so they say), if the item does exceed the basic measurements, they would deliver and add a surcharge to be paid by adressee.
