Dan's scarf?

Dan Cruikshank sometime wears a scarf with a long fringe (or tassels) around it - sort of thing worn in Lawrence of Arabia, but round the neck instead. On Saturday there was a girl in Bournemouth wearing an almost identical one.

Does anyone know if these can be bought in the UK ....or do I have to holiday in the middle east?

Do you mean the 'shemagh' - like the head-dress idea? Also just called an 'arab scarf.'

Loads of places online inc eBay to get one - just search for supplier, tons of colours too....

they sometimes sell them in army surplus shops - there's one up near the triangle in bournemouth (I think)

Are those things doing the rounds again? They were massive in the 80's a la Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet- ahhhh those were the days!
