Like, cucuhullan, I especially remember Mr. Ford in Blackboard Jungle but rarely failed to see any of his western's. He played well with Randolph Scott in the classic The Desperadoes which was probably my favorite, although only seeing it many years later. Scott was a well established actor by this time and Ford was quite young. It was a good pairing for an excellent movie... Ford, although born in Canada, was a U.S. Marine and saw combat in the South Pacific. I appreciated the fact that he was an excellent horseman and did many of his own stunts...
