I think it was 'only when I laugh' starring James Bolan (from the likely lads fame) plus another guy whos name I cant remember. I think the resident doctor was Victor Meldrew, but dont hold me to that! I always used to think it was odd the guys didnt seem ill, but never actually got any treatment or ever got discharged!
The bloke from 'To the manor born' was init also, Peter Bowler or Blower not sure of name.
peter bowles i think.
christopher strauli was also a patient.

with the pakistani nurse - gupta.probably incredibly racist towards him !

used to love that prog but it dates back to a time when many shows were shown by region and being in the south west we rarely got it ! how i envied those other regions !!!
impret-sir is spot on - richard wilson played the doctor and victor meldrew. peter bowles was in it and james bolam and there was another patient that they roped into things. i loved that show
