iam having sky hd fitted next week i allready have a sky plus box in another room will this cause a problem as i will need to cabels from lnb also 2 i think to the new hd box ta

if they have let you have the HD fitted they must believe there are no problems as they will know you have the Sky+. The engineer will be able to sort it all out for you, remember to offer him a brew .

a standard sky dish has an lnb(the thing on the end of the arm) with 4 sockets.sky+ and sky hd both need 2 each so you will be fine.
we have a sky hd box,sky+ box and a normal sky box so 5 inputs needed so we had an octo lnb fitted by the sky engineer when he called.
