Robert was the one who turned up pretending to be Cam. Cam was in the coma. Now Robert is pretending to be in the coma and Cam is the one being questioned for all the things that Robert did. If that makes sense????
That cam (the real one) is so stupid. all he has to do is say ok take fingerprints from Pauls house and from Cam bedroom (the not real one) and they will see that they match Roberts (the real one) in hospital. so they will no he is telling the truth.
i agree. and like elle wouldnt notice that her favourite brother who she had lived with for years had suddenly changed personalities. i know rob was pretending to b cam, but surely elle would notice a slight change to what he was like!
elle does seem a bit dippy though. But not all twins are exactly the same, there is always something different and most familys can tell.
I have always thought that Elle Or Gail should be able to tell Cam and Robert apart.But apparently the only way Gail could identify her sons is that Robert has a mole on his arm.
As for the question of fingerprints,the real Robert took tools into the hospital and put the real Cam's fingerprints on them.But the rest of the house,as 4getmenot says,would be covered in forensic evidence from the real Robert.But I have noticed in Australian soaps that the police are very bad at taking forensic evidence.
and its a soap :-)
Come on no identical twins have moles in exactly the same places.Rob/cam has loads on his face.

Plus the voices there has to be some differences, but as they are played by the same person they cant hide the moles on both.

What a whiney toad he is too. Not very good acting skills
Isnt he ugly. Looks like a trout thats had something shoved up its bum.
I'm hoping that it all turns out to have been an Izzy in the shower moment/season/etc.
The whole of this storyline is simplistic and unrealistic, for dramatic purposes. (Thge target audience is teenagers etc.). e.g. the process of waking up from a coma after several weeks of unconsciousness is slow and painful, not instantaneous. If it were real, then:

Cameron in hospital would have had tubes and bleepy things to feed and monitor him

He would be regularly turned and given exercise and physiotherapy

Cameron would probably have lost a lot of weight compared with Robert

The staff in the hospital would therefore have noticed the swap.

When Cameron woke up, he would not have had the strength to overpower Robert and escape.

If you want to know how it all works out in future episodes, go to www.ramsay-street.co.uk/episodes and start at the 4976 to 5000 section. Some of the details are sketchy, but it is a good website.

by the way 4getmenot: Cameron and Robert are not twins - they and Elle are triplets.

In answer to the original question:
1. Cameron (good) was in a coma as a result of an "accident" which was arranged by Robert;
2. Robert (bad) was in Erinsborough pretending to be Cameron;
3. R. committed crimes to get revenge on Paul for being a bad father;
4. R. framed C. by planting fingerprints on the tools;
5. C. woke up and realised what R. was doing;
6. C. overpowered R. and escaped;
7. R. got into C's bed and is pretending to be in a coma.

The point where C. escaped and swapped places with R. coincided with the time when the others realised that R. (pretending to be C.) was evil and horrid. Therefore C. is now in prison charged with crimes which were committed by R. while R. was pretending to be C.

whoops that link didn't work. It was
