Did not know where to post this question, since it is a radio question.
Does anyone else agree with me that late night "TALK SPORT" radio phone-in is becoming a load of rubbish. At one time it was the only station on the air that one could listen to a wide variety of issues being discussed between the presenter and the caller, without all this PC rubbish getting in the way. But recently something has gone wrong, certain presenters have disappeared from the air, and the good old regulars seemed to have had D-Notices issued on them. Has anyone else noticed the differences? Mike Dicken in particular does not seem to discuss the subjets he once did, now it is mostly speeding tickets, parking tickets etc. Ian Collins and Chessy just want to chat amongst themselves, while keeping callers holding onto the line for ages.

i listen to the legends (mon - fri 1800-20.00) on century 100.7 fm www.100centuryfm.com.and on the web
phone in hosted by Bernie Slaven Malcolm macdonald and someone called gates from sunderland (pah) .

concentrate mainly on issues relating to north east clubs Miiddlesbrough yeaaaahhh Newcastle booooohhh and sunderland pah! but its lighthearted and a good listen.

Why don't you try LBC 97.3 . I know that it is a london based station but since the 1st of September you can listen to it on DAB radios in many parts of the country . or if you have Sky it's on there. I like Clive Bull, known as the king of the late night phone in he keeps it light hearted perfect for winding down after the days events . Within reason he will talk about what the caller wants .:-D

hi all,
i agree, talksport at night with that ian collins and chessy, is absolutely awful,
they talk such mind numbing inane garbage,
whats worse they are on about 4 times a week.
also in the morning there is a presenter called john gaunt, i have never heard such a self opinionated egotistical moron in all my life.
