Is it just me or is CJ UNBEARABLY SMUG. I just can't stand him, and I keep trying to give him the bennefit of the doubt but it just keeps getting worse. Why can't he just answer the questions normally like everyone else. grrrr

I am with you Englishbird, I don't watch it very often but the other night the Blagh blagh's did really well and the others were so smug when they won especially Daphne and the other two when lost their rounds. It is getting to the stage where it should be called the big heads.

I will get off my soap box now. LOL.

CJ is unberably smug when he knows the answer but I do so enjoy it when he plainly hasn't got a clue what the answer is. It was so good to watch his and Daphne's faces yesterday when Judith gave Carnoustie as her answer to a golf question when both CJ and Daphne were shaking their heads as they both thought it was St. Andrews and it turned out Judith was right. It looked as though both their worlds had collapsed. Of the five, Kevin is the most human and, as befits someone of his ability, he only embellishes any answer when he is asked to do so.

I watched it for the first time yesterday and had to switch over because he was sooo annoying! It was brilliant entertainment though. When he had the food round he was such an idiot!! And then he won - shame!

Thanks SteveD - he was a model!? Strangely, despite the slightly deranged pictures, he comes across with an iota of humility on his website, now if only he could translate that to the tv it may be a little less nauseating!

Oh my god, that website is sooooo funny!! He really loves himself, a model???? Hhmmmmm did he pay people to take his pictures? His nodding on eggheads annoys me in particular like he knows every answer when he clearly doesn't. Agree with richard madely aswell, they should put all the annoying people on one exclusive tv show then we all know not to watch it!!

My husband thinks that Daphne is the smuggest, especially when she shakes her head when one of her Team mates gets a wrong answer.

However, the whole point is that they are meant to be know it alls - that's what Eggheads is about.

My favourite is Kevin. I agree with the comments made about him earlier. He has a huge range of knowledge, but is never flash. He can be on my quiz team at any time.

I think CJs website is hilarious. See that he credits Daphne! I'm sorry to have missed yesterday's show as I would have liked to have seen Judith get a sport question right and Daphne and CJ get it wrong!

Having said that, I love the programme (when my kids will let me watch it - it clashes with the Simpsons).

So what are his qualifications for being on Eggheads? Brain of Britiain? International Mastermind? No, winning 15 to 1 and 100% Sex; hardly the most strenuous general knowledge tests around. Him and Judith are so obviously inferior to the others I sometimes wonder if they just have them on for comedy value.

Personally I always referred to hm as the greasy smarmy one. He may not be as greasy now the hair has gone (How can someone so clever...have hair so bad) he may just be smarmy...and smug.

I can't stand Chris Hughes - he must be that boring type you meet in pubs,who will bore you with facts and figures.
I nearly had a chance of going on Eggheads with some mates of mine from a club in Billingham,but work commitments denied me the chance of going for an audition.
I have been on 15-1 (came second),but I think I can safely say I am not smug like any of them.

I am not a violent man and I'm relatively tolerant..but I HATE CJ with all my heart and soul and want to punch him. EVERY time I look at his smug know it all face (THUMP), EVERY time I see him cringe and shake is head when someone else gets a question wrong (THUMP), EVERY time I see him smile and nod approvingly so that everyone knows that CJ knows the answer as well (THUMP)...oh and Daphne is a cow as well. There I feel better now...until next time the eggheads are on. Oh, and P.S. Even when they got beat by that student lot, the little spoilt brat who won deserved a punch as well. (There was no satisfaction to be had in him winning...shame).
