detective in singapore

Does anyone remember a detective/police series set in singapore. It was on in the early eighties at about the same time as the A-team. All i remember is that i used to watch it with my Dad and i though it was brilliant. The main charachter was a man who, if i remember correctly wore a leather jacket with a tiger motif on the back. Can anyone help me?

I don't think so, the charachter in it had a moustache and was always dressed in Indiana Jones type gear

Well, the hero of TftGM wore an Indy-style jacket, the motif looked more like a flag, but was in fact the insignia of the "Flying Tigers". It was called "Bring 'em Back Alive" and starred Bruce Boxleitner as the big game hunter Frank Buck. The setting was pre - WW11 Singapore, and some of the sets were actually in the Raffles Hotel.
