I don't believe a word of it, he just knew his animals, He may have upset a few animals in his life but saved many more, he also raised the awareness of so many people to the welfare of these animals.

I gets top marks in my book!!

Its all well and good to take cheap shots at Steve Irwin but even all the naturalists sing his praises and maybe ask ourselves what we have all done to help preserve any species of animal.

well if he was simply "disturbing animals" - then if was that cynical he would have gone for the completely harmless ones surely?
