Right here in the UK except it would be in Cornwall and not Lancs where I am now- oh and can I have pots of money as well please?

Thanks very muchly :-)
Orlando, Florida!
Antigua, it is so British but with Caribbean weather, oh, and i have had my family and so they can come along if they want but they must pay their own way.
Orlando for me too :o)
There's really very few English speaking areas with a reasonable climate and a reasonable system of health care and government. The UK, parts of Australia, most of New Zealand and possibly parts of Canada - any would do. South Africa also if it ever sorts out its politics.

The US is great to visit but the pits to live in, a lot of Canada's too cold/hot at different times, as is (hot only) a lot of Australia. The Caribbean is too hot/hurricane prone.

I suppose it depends on what you are looking for though

I'd love to remain in Munich, Bavaria, where I am now. It's the cleanest, safest/crimefree, relaxing/stressfree place I've ever been to. Plus they have lots and lots of beer festivals :)
Kebabmeister, I totally agree with you. I lived in Germany for 28 years and loved it. Plan to return to live there some day I hope. And no I am not German, I'm Irish. As much as I like Florida I wouldn't want to live there. I did spend several months in Florida, several short breaks too and nearly built a house there, but I missed the atmosphere, the beauty and the people of Europe. Florida was simply too artificial, too commercial, too touristic for me. But it is beautiful and houses, compared to here in the UK, are very inexpensive. Hurricanes are a bit of a bad scene but the beautiful beaches make up for that in a way.!
