The Black Dahlia?
2 Answers
I saw this last night and wondered what is with Hillary Swank's character's family? Where is she actually meant to be from? And what was with her dad's scottish accent? The director couldn't really have thought that's what Scottish people sound like, SURELY?
And the other question is... can Scarlett Johansson actually act? She just seemed to be pouting to me. Thinking back to her other movies... yep, she just seemed to be pouting there too? So many questions.

I will say I was totally disappointed and felt ripped off. There were some good actors in there but they all acted terribly. Scarlett Johansson was wooden and Hillary Swank was pretty laughable. Lots of the film was (I felt) pretty boring and during the serious bits the whole audience were in fits of laughter because it was so badly done.
The film is much more about Josh Hartnett being a stud with various women than the murder itself. The murder was just really a background to the movie as a whole and there were no genuine theories about who killed the woman in real life.
