Just been watching wife swap, can't believe what John McCririck was like? what a horrible man!! does anyone actually like him?

I think he needs therapy to get to the root of his irrationally defensive fears/behaviour about allowing a woman to have some control in their Shared life+home

He was absolutely vile and incredibly and patronising, the whole point of the programme was to SWAP roles, I hope they refused to pay him whatever was in his contract, and just gave him a very small percentage.

I think it actually made Edwina look quite nice (apart from her rude interupting at the end) before the programme I had very negative views towards her, I have changed my opinion slightly now.

Oh come on half of it is done for the camera's. If he really didn�t do things and couldn�t be @rsed then he wouldn�t have even done the show. I do think most of it was just over the top. But no I dont like him, he puts me off my lunch :-)

And I would have shouted at Edwina at the end too, she was asking question after question, then saying �you cant answer me can you� when she wasn�t even given her a chance to answer

JM has built an entire career out of his eccentricity (largely put on for the cameras) and his superlaitve skills as a racing journalist (entirely genuine).

The whole ethos of 'Wife Swap' is to find two couples, at least one of which will totally irritate the other, and the whole rather predictable and out-of-steam format reached its zenith with these two - maybe they'll go out on a high and stop making the tired redundant programme now?
