Apparently he is missing, presumed dead. No one seems to know exactly what has happened to him.

Totty? Joel? Do you mean the incredibly handsome Daniel MacPherson? I met him in Croydon when he was filming a scene for The Bill. Unfortunately it was before his character appeared on screen, and I didn't recognise him because his face was half-hidden by his police hat. But anyway, there is still lots of hunky totty in neighbours in the form of Kyal Marsh (Boyd).
