as far as i know macca and martha were adopted. they were 2 random children adopted to a family, therefore they became brother and sister. but when he adopted family died or whatever she went to summer bay to find her natural family (alf etc). Macca is therefore her adopted brother and therefore not related to alf etc
does that make sense? !
i was confused aswell but thought it all out last night ( i need to get out more!!)

haha thankyou very much xxx
I thought Martha was Roo's daughter (Roo was Alf's daughter) but Macca had a different mum or something.

Martha is Roo's Daughter, who she gave birth to when she was about 17, she had her adopted. Brett Macklin was her father. - he has recently been in the programme.

Ric's father is the son Alf never knew he had, until recently his mother was some woman that Alf had an affair with who went to jail later on in life. They were reunited on her death bed, where he found out he had this son. The son was an alcoholic that used beat Ric. Ric eventully killed him during one particular fight.
