Anyone know if this reality show will be back on Ch 5? I know I'm sad, but cannot get BBC or ITV so have to rely on Ch 5, and I do get so engrossed and enraged, really get carried away with it all.

Thanks Jude, I will now watch that and see what there is in our town - probably nothing!!!

Robi. I am hypermobile everywhere - the osteo last week had trouble working on me because of the movement in my joints and that he had never worked on someone as hypermobile. GP told me years ago that it was a major factor in my osteoarthritis. When I was young I thought it was great to be able to twist my limbs into impossible places!! I wish someone had warned me.

Apparently tai chi will help me to become more stable and strengthen my muscles so that they cope better. Hypermobility is caused through tendons being too lax and not doing their job properly and there is nothing you can do about it. Son is even more hypermobile than I am.
Neares Tai Chi is 12 miles away :o(
Pilates? That stabilises joints by strengthening the supporting muscles.
They do chai tea over here Lofty .You'll have to come and stay :) They do it on the beach in the summer .
I could do with a bit of mobility if you want to get rid ! I'm stiff as a board and have aches where I didn't know you could get aches today . My nose is running ominously too and I'm cold ,then hot . How very vexing .
I'm tootling orf to bed ...Goodnight chums xx
ooh heck, they've hardly come in from milking the cows and already they're working out?

Good morning fair milkmaids:

Sun is shining so hopefully all my washing from yesterday will dry!

Poor shaney, you sound not too well, take care.

and hope all the rest of yous are soldiering on.

jno did you enjoy the theatre with your crowns?
Good morning all. I'm feeling a lot better today in fact I have put all my white washing out on the line and it's blowing about brilliantly, and, guess what, I've just heard Moira Stewart say rain is coming in from the East, but am I bothered, Nooo!!
I've sorted my heating 'instructions' out and it now switches on at 6.30 and off at 8.30 so it's nice and warm when I'm getting up.

Sorry you can't find a local Tai Chi Session Lottie. I got mine off Google and did have to drive a good distance to get there but I was lucky my friend lived quite near to where it was at the time and from there we ended up going for a meal so it worked out well for us.

Shaney I hope you 'unstiffen' soon. You sound like you might have a flue'y thing or a virus. What do they, say drink plenty and keep warm.
Get well soon. Thinking about you.
I've never tried Pilates Neti, to tell the truth I don't even know what you're supposed to do. I'll Youtube it when I have a mo. which'll have to be later on as it is Tai Chi then lunch at a local where my friend lives.
Have a peaceful day everyone. See yer later 'gater(s)
Morning farmhands...mild 'n breezy

Don't worry, they do tai chi moooves right here..

shall I leave now?
L o L Robi (see if they reject L o L) ... I'm the one who's leaving now byeeee
Hi Biddies,

LOL at your link Robi!!

Hope that you are OK today Shaney - certainly sounded like you were sickening for something last night. Take care.

Glad you are feeling better Jude. My washing is still in the machine. Mr LL had to more or less shake me awake at 9.15 this morning - just so he could say goodbye (but also because he is now used to me making his packed lunch and it needed doing). Woke up with a real humdinger of a headache which has now eased. Tum is still a bit dodgy. Am meeting friend at lunchtime for a coffee, cheese scone and chat and then off to Morrisons. I don't think I will achieve much more today!!

Woofie, osteo and I talked about Pilates, but he says at the moment it is not a good idea because some movements are quite exaggerated and wouldn't do me any good. I did try Pilates once, but it hurt too much!! Shame because I can do Pilates locally. I would consider Tai Chi 10 miles are so away in the summer, but not in the winter - I would end up not going - no fun on bad roads in the winter with no lighting and just open fields each side.

Will make some more local enquiries.

Dull and overcast here today and quite windy. Not inspiring........................

Have a good day folks, look after yourself shaney.
I'm just killing 15 mins, got the dentist in an hour... <sob>...I don't want to go but too scared not to. Hopefully it's only a check up and clean but I still hate it x10. Why do you always have a crease down your face on these days? I'm looking for something to disguise it along with my hair, couldn't be bothered to wash it this morning...oh here we are, apparently you can't go wrong with one of these...

morning all, how are all the aches and pains? I did have to have a nap after being measured for my crowns and before continuing on to the theatre, but have made up for it with a nine-hour sleep last night.

I have had this recommended to me

http://www.nydj.com/

"not your daughter jeans" - I am told they're a lot cheaper in the USA than here so if anyone's planning a stroll down Route 66...
I need to book the dentist and the hygienist...Think I'll do appointments for january. I am actually quite busy at the mo.
I'm putting off the hygienist until I've got my new teeth in place and chewing.

Oh dear, just seen that story from yesterday about 20 tons of Marmite spilt on the M1... what a sticky situation.
love it or hate it......

This just made me smile

Huge thanks to Lottie for the steamer recommendation. In 5 minute my floor looks like new and no sloshy buckets and mops.
The weather's turned cold & it's raining

lol woofy...keep ya sh1t kicker boots off that floor :o)

Jeans and casual wear have always been cheaper and better quality in the US I think, well they were in Canada when my f-i-l lived there.
Think we all need dungarees and wellies around here.

Tis done, just a quick clean at the dentist <<<ting!!>>> lots of spaces to fill with mince pies :o). Glad I got it over with, I only rang yesterday, I think it was a cancellation.

yes, yes Derek, you were brave too

supposed to be some rain at 6 but apart from that just the usual dull. I am halfway through my Xmas cards but have decided to take a little break.
Black and orrible here. Blowing a hooly and gusty rain. I have done a box of shredding, baked a brioche loaf in the breadmaker, shopped online (chrissy gifts and Waitrose, love this website. http://www.poshgraffiti.com/) and changed my bed. Amazing really, a mate came round for coffee today on his way on to work so I didn't get much kip after dog walkies but I am still awake and perky.
