I clearly remember Wait Til Your Father Gets Home. I seem to recall that it was on Friday nights, very late...around 11.30pm.
Now, here's the weird thing...I remember it being brilliant, but I saw a clip of it on 'The Top 100 Cartoons' on CH4 recently, and...well, let's just say, it's not aged well.
For the time, it was more like 'King Of the Hill' than 'The Simpsons' in that it was an animated sitcom, rather than a 'cartoon'.
Will O' The Wisp however, is still genius.

I loved it. My mum says that the jokes could be 'near the knuckle'. One line from the dad to the son went ''you are the biggest reason for vasectomy known to man'' or something along those lines :o)
Remembering it from the opening credits, I can kind of see where the inspiration for 'Family Guy' came from!

Truly, it was a marvellous theme tune...but it wasn't a patch on a great forgotten theme: 'The Hair Bear Bunch'.
For those of you of a certain age...this was the tune that had you dancing in your pyjamas when it was on, on Saturday mornings.
It was so good, it was a shame when the credits finished and the cartoon started.
