A bit of a long shot here but was anyone, when watching the mighty Prince receive his award, willing, just willing Dermot O'Leary to for once not make a silly comment in the presence of such a talent? And he did, of course, have a quip behind Prince when he left the stage.
I like Dermot but sometimes....grrrrrrrrrrr!

Yes I agree with you - it felt weird having the two of them on the same stage together as Prince is a god and Dermot, well he's alright.

these people are living in ivory towers - i thinks its good for them to be treated just like everyone else once in a while, bring them back down to earth, as they are often in danger of disappearing up their own backsides.

prince is a singer/songwriter and a man, nothing more - a very talented and successful one - but still just a man.

zipahdeedoodah he didn't really say anything, I just wish he could have for once not had his usual twittering comments after the guest has gone. He often seems to do it.
It was great to see Prince get the award, we haven't seen him in a long time and he was extremely nice.
I just think Dermot could have let him leave the stage, Dermot smile and applaud him instead of muttering into the bloody mike.
