A real jigsaw. As Jilly Goolden would say, I'm getting Cardiff, I'm getting Liverpool, hold on, I'm getting The Bronx...
But in reality, where on earth is one of the most complex accents I've heard actually have its origins?

lol...definately a weird one, It changes mid sentence
I had a disagreement with my husband about this, I said she she's a scouser, he said American - I am right!!! She was born and bred in Liverpool but spent quite a bit of time training to be an actress in LA so I assume that's why she sounds so odd.
Hope this helps!
To back up gleavey - on her intro on the first episode, before they all went into the jungle, it said she was born in Liverpool.
She's from Tokky laaa! (Tht's Toxteth, to all you foreigners!!)
Phina is definitely from Liverpool

Now I know I can keep track of it, she just said she spent ages in the States and has a real 50-50 mix. How she can act with that I don't know as it must be hard to control it to one in particular. At least it was one I could pick up beforehand!
