we are having a sort of 'differance of opinion' with our mate nige, he says the man mentioned above appeared in a TV version of Heidi that he swears he saw as a child??and now says he found it also mentioned on some TV museum listings something or other?? he is adamant of his correctness and now he's just annoying everyone can any one help????

sorry to be bearer of bad news, but your friend is right. lyndhurst was also in a version of the prince and the pauper as a child, he hasnt changed much :-)

NO NO NO even here nige has infulltrated, this was up till now our last bastion of knowlege where we could quite convincingly prove we were always right!!! we must admit defeat dam dam dam,.
He was watching the BBC programme recently that has been charting the geneaology of classic comedies...the programme being profiled was Butterflies and it showed clips of him in both of the shows mentioned.
thankyou sft42, that must have been where i saw it, knew it was recent :-)
You more than welcome kind lady...though I only now realise we have just let on to the world that you didn't have this interesting fact stuck up your sleeve so to speak.
well i did have it up my sleeve, just not very far up it as its a new one :-)
