TV series where the character coasted around on an Air Boat all the time...

I'm trying to think of a television program where at the end credits the main member of the cast was coasting trhough swamps on his Air Boat while the credits roled. it must have been from the 70s/80s and has been shown again in the 90s. I have no ideas what it was called. I'm not sure if the character on the air boat had a dog with him and if the program was Australian or from the US.

Could it be Gentle Ben? That had a similar sequence for the titles and credits

I remember that show too, was it called `The Beachcomers` ????

Mr Boo has just said...yep, it's the Beachcombers...as we were both pondering this one this afternoon....i read that out ot him and he went "oh yeah, tis Beachcombers"

Not Beachcombers I'm afraid. That was a series about a family of Loggers in British Columbia, Canada. Not many swamps around there!

I don't think it's Gentle Ben either.

Though saying that, it was based in the Florida Everglades. It was also made into in 'film for tv' in 2002.
