i downloaded season 1 of lois and clark, and it came with three extras. the extras play fine, but the episodes have no sound. is it just a dodgy download or am i missing something?

If it said it was complete in azureus, then you'll have what you should have from that torrent. BitTorrent contains a data checking system, so that you shouldn't really get mistakes in your downloads.

More likely is that it's been encoded (the videos, that is), with a codec that your program you're playing them in doesn't properly support.

Try using VLC to play them. Plays pretty much everything:

or you can download gspot codec thingy and see what codecs you need, then download them.

But VLC is a good media player anyway
