Quadrophenia- Phil Daniels is great in this tale of Mods & Rockers & spot the star, most of the cast are still acting now, Platoon-a very honest & moving account of the Vietnam war & Roadhouse- don't understand how this one gets in!

ive got loads of favourites, one of them is The Burbs because its just got everything, its so funny. its an eighties film with tom hanks, not many people remember when i talk about it but its really good.

Definately Lord of the Rings. As someone said, it is an almost perfect representation of the book and is so lovingly crafted that you just get totally absorbed. A great outlet for all that modern day frustration too. One of THE best films in all time. also, the square peg with norman wisdom cos its hilarious and steven spielbergs "hook" (cos its the film of my childhood).
