Yes, but incredibly boring. She sings typical songs and i think she's done an upbeat song just once. I jus wanted her 2 try something new! Ray's voice may not be as good as Leona's, but he certainly has more personality.

well i think leona will win ,cos she deserves to win,she has a fantastic flaw less voice ,and lets face it ray has already won an award when he was in brookside. i would buy leonas cd,but probably not rays swing,i do like that style but its been done a bit much over the past couple of years dont ya think.leona will be big big big ,i can really see her being a big artist .ray could do the hollywood thing though ,

Yeah rosie posie, i do agree with u actually. Except- i would buy ray's cd, and probably wouldn't buy leona's. she jst doesn't appeal 2 me! I think she will get places whether she wins or not.
Also, i dont really see where your coming from with swing being done a lot over the past few years!!

think of the bigger picture alenka ,she will do her own thing give it time ,they have had to do chosen songs you know. i can see p diddy and stuff wanting to work with her.it is really hard to reach her leval of voice ranges ,we take it for granted cos where not up ther singing ,but have you ever tried to get to to those high and low notes as perfectly as her.

I have wanted Leona to win from the start and from Metz's point I wanted Will Young to win from the start as I loved the sound and control and style of his voice. I feel the same about Leona's voice. I do like Ray as well but had got bored with the swing thing and was glad when he changed it up. I agree with Rosie Posie as the swing thing has been done to death recently with established postars like Robbie Williams and westlife did a swing/style album my friend had and Jamie Cullum and Michael Buble who are both on a different league to Ray. Yeah he has a great personality but it's not a personality that sells a CD over to teend and adults alike in the longrun - it's the sound, the voice and the song choice selection.

What about Whitney Houston and Maria Carey. Their voices are similar to Leonas. She has had singing lessons also, so the fact that Ray has already won an award shouldn't count. I think Ray just may win. He is a lot more entertaining. It is X factor not Pop Idol.

Ray will win. That Leona has been all hyped up. (record deal in USA already, had tonsilitus (or whatever) but put on a brave face and sang anyway, did a little cry last week. BORING. Don't like Ray though either to be honest. His hip swinging (not he's "hip" at swinging, or maybe he is?) but his body movement, makes me feel physically sick. I have to turn away if i'm unfortuante to get a glimpse.

Ben should have won, but hey thats me. I say, give me rock music over Rat Pack and Mirah bloody Carey any day.
