Well at the end of last nights Best of Top Gear they said it would be returning in the New Year. Vague as hell but it's definitely coming back.

That's right - they resume filming in the New Year. He was also on Jonathon Ross on the Friday before Christmas. He is definately back to being the old hamster - with the exception of being able to remember phone numbers and a new found love of celery !!!!
