David Dickinson Keeps Bothering Me ...

In a foolish moment I texted the David Dickinson Competition. Of course I didn't win but I am being bombarded with texts from 'David' asking me to enter further competitions. It is driving me crazy and now another company has started texting me, I have never had this problem before. Can they be reported, and if so, would it be the Telephone Preference Service?? Just a warning to others, don't text competitions, especially David Dickinson's one.

Text "STOP" in reply to one of the messages, that should put an end to it.

Sorry smurfchops as I know it can be annoying to be bombarded with unwanted texts, but when I saw your title it made me giggle out loud :o)

Hope you manage to get them stopped, as above I have seen on adverts asking you to text "stop" to cease any more texts.

OK chazza you win, I will try to be polite and type the word STOP. Fingers crossed. There must be loads of people out there getting this problem. I wouldn't mind if I had won the money !!

Every text they send costs you �1.50...and that`s not cheap as chips

Is there a way of blocking these texts? It doesn't seem right that they get away with this.

Don`t enter these comps by text, use a landline...Or better still...watch something decent on telly

Hi, just been watching the program and there is some very small writing at the bottom of the screen when the compertition is on advising you to go to itv.com/help if you have any questions or alternatively have a look at the terms and conditions on their website. Good Luck

I've never entered any competition or done any voting by text as I was worried about receiving unsolicited texts. Seems I was right to avoid them.
