She's not known very much in this country whatsoever - I'd guess thats probably why she chose to take part. In the world of Bollywood she's supposedly an A-list celeb.

Imagine Grace Kelly crossed with Elizabeth Taylor, Jordan, Posh Spice, Helen Mirren and Madonna, and you get some idea of just how famous Shilpa Shetty is in the Indian sub-continent.

She has endured a serious culture shock both in the physical environment, and the interactions with Western people of whom she has limited experience within the BB House, but she has dealt with it with grace and humour, for the most part.


You don't get to be that big a star without a dep inner strength, so although she may have cried initially, Shilpa will emerge from the House with dignity, and return to her own environment with her reputation intact - I wonder if the three Western 'celebrities' can say the same?

It doesn't matter what people think of the 'western celebrities' when they leave the house, the fact is some people over here act like that! It winds me up how Shilpa can say 'it's racist' when, as you state, she's never dealt with Western people before, so therefore she doesn't know the different cultural attitudes.

NOT RACIST, leave off prehaps the comment ' why doesn't she f**k off home' in your eyes isnt racist but to the rest of the united kingdom and the world if they saw it does! the fact you cant obviously see this is racism leads me to think you are slightly off your rocker.
