Is Jackie Goody a muslim? I read in the Guardian that the mother of Jade is a muslim convert and has been for the last 9 years. There's nothing wrong with this but can anyone confirm this?

Jean - lets not be prejudice here, you're no different than Jade with your offensive comments. We simply trying to find out whether Jackie is muslim or not. Besides we should respect everyones religion. Jermaine Jackson is muslim and look how well he behaved in the house - let's not be swayed by the media's one dimensional view on muslims.

I am not being prejudice but I am trying to say was Jacky had came up with things that had caused ppl discomfort and I found offensive, her bad comments and the way she behaved. Im trying to work out if your coment was drenched in sarcasism? You say that jermaine is a muslim and look how well he has behaved in the house? Regardless of his faith, he seemed happy to describe a white british person who has had a hard life and many problems i can only dread to imagine, white trash! That is a racist slur is it not? Why no uproar about it. I can only assume that your comment was a sarcastic description of his behaviour in the house. Just because you say it quietly instead of shouting does not make it less offensive.
