Adam Ricketts on Coronation St AAAarrrgh

What on earth has happened to Adam Ricketts? He went away - a very so-so actor ,but ok in the context of the programme. Now he's back and he has become AN ACTOR darling. He 'emotes' every line with toe curling emphasis .Every time he's on I feel like throwing something at the telly .Is it just me?

Thank goodness banana - someone else!! That Katie, doing her chicken impression and eye rolling is bad enough, but now the 'Nick theatrical pauses' at every opportunity is really driving me up the wall!!
