I'm sure i remember reading somewhere that Richard once had an affair, am i dreaming or did this happen?

Curly perm is right - he was having an affair with Judy whilst they were both married to other folk. Dot is right that Richard was done for shop lifting about ten years ago I guess. He has argued his innocence ever since, claiming he was distracted and left the supermarket not realising that he had some goods under his arm. I have to point out to you all however, that whilst I know about this boring bit of useless information, it is in no way a reflection of my allegiance to either R or J as personally I cannot stand them both and particularly Richard - he needs a good slapping !

I always get the feeling that Judy is very much the boss in that relationship and Richard is like a little boy trailing round after her. He'd probably be too scared to have an affair.

I think for legal reasons it should be pointed out that Richard was found not guilty of shoplifting.
