Because BB pumped mind altering drugs into the house, and that's the reason why she acted the way she did. Also, whilst in the house she was abducted by aliens who conducted experiments on her and removed the 'apology' part of her brain.

To be fair, suggesting the damn thing be axed is probably the most sensible thing she's said for a long while.

It is more than likely because she's desperate to save face as none of the dumb*sses in there had the gumption to realise that EVERYTHING they said in the house was either recorded or streamed live.

Any career damage they suffer as a result is their own doing and they will have to live with it.
