have just got connected to sky 8 meg whats your opinion on it

Hy ya all have just changed over from ntl tv,phone, and net and would like to know some of your opinions out there. first of all I was paying around 90 a month on ntl for 2 mgb connection and free phone calls 24/7 and most of the sky channels plus sky sports (no movies though).
Am paying 52 a month for sky+ (records on an 80gb box and is brill) and a second box in the bedroom (extra remote included) all the movie and sports channels included and my sky broadband at 8 meg has just come through ( after a week and a half which is not to bad as I have heard on here that it can take a lot more time than that) .
I know that you have to have a bt connetion as well that costs 11 a month and an extra deep sea diver (fiver) 5 pound coins for 24/7 phone calls of sky.
All in all I am very satisfied at the moment but as I said have heard of storys on here of the broadband cust service etc etc but surely they cannot be as bad as tiscali as that is impossibale.
need your input here peeps.
And by the way obviously the speed on my connection needs more fine tuning etc, etc, but today managed to download 4 megs in 13 seconds WOW never had that speed b4

An 8Mbit connection at full throttle should achieve 1MByte per second.

I mentioned tiscali because I was with them b4 ntl and they were the most carp isp that I have been with and a lot of people on here agree so if I should have been getting that sort of speed with ntl at 2mb then all I can say is that ntl cannot have been that good as that used to take a hell of a lot longer to download 4 mbyte
