that guy that paul is with on emerdale with the gray hair, didn't he used to be in neighbours and home and away. i'm sure i've seen him before.

Yes, his name is Richard Grieve. He played Dr. Lachlan "Lachie" Fraser in Home and Away, and Sam Kratz in Neighbours.
