1970s show theme music
In the early 70s there was a program on tv possibly called out of the unknown and the theme music was someone whistling a tune, does anyone know the program, or music, or where its available from?

But if the programme you are thinking of had an empty funfair and whistling, it could have been a Hammer production - Journey to the Unknown, shown around the same time.
The theme tune was 'Journey to the Unknown' and was written by Harry Robinson.
I don't know if either of these are available on cd, but there is a Hammer House of Horror cd that includes music by Harry Robinson.
